Hinsdale Ceramic Braces

Clearly Reliable Smile Treatment

If you think having braces requires wearing highly noticeable brackets and wires, you need to know about clear braces from CHT Orthodontics.

These virtually clear, natural tooth–colored materials provide you and patients of all ages with an attractive, less noticeable alternative to traditional braces.

Get Clear on Ceramic Braces

Clear braces work the same as traditional metal braces — except they’re clear, of course!

Instead of metal brackets, clear braces use ceramic brackets made of polycrystalline alumina that blend in with your teeth.

This virtually invisible material means clear braces are a less noticeable alternative to traditional metal braces — and provide patients like you with an equally effective treatment.

The Benefits of Ceramic Vs. Metal Braces

As with any orthodontic treatment, it’s important to choose the right option for your needs and lifestyle. Dr. Carrie, Dr. Ami, or Dr. Karen will help you determine whether clear braces are the right treatment for you.

Appearance

Ceramic braces are much less noticeable than traditional metal braces. These clear braces offer an aesthetic alternative for patients who seek options other than traditional metal braces.

Cost

Ceramic braces do cost slightly more than traditional metal braces — but our office offers convenient monthly payment plans to help manage the costs of your treatment.

Our treatment coordinators will review all of your financial options and find a plan that works for you!

Discoloration

While the ceramic brackets won’t stain, the clear elastic ties used with clear and ceramic braces may become slightly discolored when you drink tea, coffee, or wine, and eat certain foods.

However, we’ll change these elastics out at each adjustment appointment, so this typically won't be a concern.

Ask us about how you can keep your braces looking their best.

Confidence

Many patients who choose ceramic or clear braces feel more confident about their orthodontic treatment, especially knowing that people are focusing on their smiles rather than their braces.
